so we created it.
The Business Confidence Club is dedicated to empowering women over 40 by providing a supportive environment where they can develop business skills and gain confidence.
Our focus is on building a support network with collaboration, confidence, skill enhancement, and professional growth. All whilst having fun!
We're not stuffy, boring or full of technical jargon. We are down-to-earth, passionate about supporting women just like us, and want to create something truly transformational.

We're Jo (on the right) and Michelle, and we're on a mission to support amazing women to get more clients, more revenue and (most importantly) more confidence!
Jo started her self-employed journey in 2011, having had a hugely successful career in hospitality in Sales and Events with roles including Account Executive, Group Sales Manager and Head of Sales. Jo now works with an array of clients from independent venues to global blue chip clients. Jo's a whizz with anything business development, networking, sales tips and event management. She'll be sharing her tips and wisdom with our members!
Michelle has worked in sales, events, marketing and commercial management for over 30 years. In 2021, coming out of lockdown during the pandemic, Michelle started her hospitality business consultancy - Hotel Advantage Ltd. Working with huge multinational companies, independent venues and even Cambridge University, Michelle has learned a lot of valuable (and expensive) lessons, and is passionate about making the journey to business success easier and clearer.
Michelle will be sharing insights on sales, marketing, general business and especially social media.
